         Nag Eiden

Said to be the birthplace of The Karakul's mother, Nag Eiden was a tiny desert kingdom reported to have existed somewhere between present day Bagdad and Florida. Famed for the beauty of it markets and the quality of its honey, Nag Eiden is best known for being home to the eighth wonder of the ancient world: The Carved Dunes of Nag Eiden.

Experts agree that the art of dune carving almost certainly originated elsewhere, but it was in Nag Eiden that the art was perfected. Surrounding the city walls were eleven dunes, cut with steps, leading to sand-sculptures that are said to have resembled modern origami.
