Wink Holes
Wink Holes are great tunnels in the earth, carved long ago when the Pump Dragons burrowed their way to new worlds. Though the tunnels are enormous, they are dangerous too, for they can only be seen when one is winking. That is why travellers, when crossing unknown portions of Wrush, particularly in Grimpkins Hollow, will always cover one eye with their hand.
To the right is a small Wink Hole on the outskirsts of Gorgonport, located in southern Wrush. Because photographers generally have one eye closed while snapping photos, many new Wink Holes are discovered in this way. The one pictured here is known as a Dormant Hole, meaning the world it leads to was destroyed by cosmic forces long ago. The relative safety of this particular tunnel has made it a haven for tourists, who wish to explore the native wonders of Wrush without leaving it.
